Policies

To you, our Aquatic Fitness Family,

While learning to navigate this pandemic together, we’ve become more aware of the ripple effect of our actions: we are one fluid entity and, as such, we’re responsible for each other’s wellbeing. As we cautiously step back into the world and welcome you back to the pool,we’re taking all the necessary precautions to keep you and everyone safe and healthy.

The pool is the safest place to work out together!

At CAF, we have been preaching the benefits of water for years. This could not ring truer today: experts unanimously agree that the coronavirus cannot remain infectious in the pool; this means that , technically, you’re stepping into & working out in an element that kills the virus. Please take the time to read our new safety measures and help us keep the pool a safe place to enjoy our workouts.

Cleanliness has always been a priority at CAF, and we’re elevating our standards even more.

These new measures mentioned below will be implemented immediately. It is fundamental to us that you FEEL GOOD when you are at the pool. While your safety remains our priority, your happiness and comfort are of the greatest importance to Sabrina & I and strive to do our best to make this transition as seamless as possible under these unprecedented circumstances.

Disinfecting Protocols

La Petite Baleen has undergone and will continue thorough disinfections of the facility using EPA approved disinfectants as per CDC guidelines. Sabrina & I will continue to spray with CDC recommended disinfectants to all our equipment and commonly used areas such as benches, door handles, & handrails.

Hand Sanitizers

Hand sanitizers, hand soap, and wipes are available at the pool facility.

Social Distancing

To ensure social distancing, our class capacity sizes will be reduced to allow extra space in the pool and keep congregated numbers to a minimum at all times. With class sizes reduced, we ask that you sign-up online before class to secure your spot. Our normal cancellation policy will be applied.

Aquatic Equipment

All equipment will be disinfected before and after each use. Please follow wall arrows, floor markings, and your trainer’s directions when picking up equipment prior to class and when placing the equipment in the “used equipment” bucket once finished with class so that we may disinfect for future use.

Exiting the pool & building

Please leave the pool room & building as quickly as possible to allow time and space for us to begin cleaning. The restroom will be available to use if needed and one shower available in case of an emergency. Please let us know before your class if you have any special needs or concerns.

We are committed to following our government’s safety guidelines and will continue to raise the bar for your safety. If  you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.

A 24 hour cancellation policy will be in effect due to class size reduction. We thank you in advance for understanding. See you in the pool!
